ROLLERCOASTERS: 24/09/22 Luna Park & Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park visit

September of this year I took a trip to NYC to visit friends, enjoy the cultures, and ride coasters just a subway ride from the city's center. I heard about Vekoma's 2019 suspended family thrill ride installation Phoenix and thought from the videos that it was something I just had to feel for myself. It inspired me enough to make the trip and spend a late afternoon to evening on the boardwalk. One thing I love about NASCAR's Chicago Street Race is the view of the lake just a 180-degree turn from the view of the city. The contrast feels like such a magical transportation and a mesmerizing setting to bask in unique thrills where I can casually access in the city I reside. I felt a rather mellow anticipation on the rail ride to the location that quickened my pace as I drew closer. The first ride I saw was Phoenix rising over the concrete and a smile leapt from my face through my feet. Cuddle Bunny Lakeview Visit 24-11-21

 Near the end of November, I took a week off work to do whatever I pleased. So, naturally, I visited the Cuddle Bunny. I arrived for a 7 pm appointment, the last of the day, during which the rabbits were a bit active. I saw Rex jump for joy when his last visitors of the evening vacated his pen. He's very relaxed and friendly, but I can see he really values his space -- I'm sure his sense of personal space is much larger with his size! My first stop was the free-roaming rabbit of the day: Olaf. For the most part, he only glanced at me with disinterest. He seemed only curious when I sat at a farther distance and silently watched him eat. Maybe he just wanted to chill and chat over some food. I often do the same. Once the previous group moved out of their pens, I stepped in to Cashmere's to start my appointment.
